Whole Goat Leg


A whole leg of Wild Goat. These legs are roughly 1.8-2kg  (This product can come frozen)

Here's an idea of how to cook it....


1.8kg Wild Goat leg

  • Fresh oregano
  • 6 Lemons
  • 100ml olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Bulb of garlic crushed


Marinate the goat with salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and juice from 1 lemon, and rub into the meat.

Place onto roasting rack and place in to a slow cooker. Set the slow cooker on high, set the timer for 8 hours and then place the lid on.

Every hour or so squeeze a lemon over the top. Once cooked the leg should be very tender, tangy and full of flavor.

Serve with parsnip and sweet potato mash and red wine gravy.

Chefs tip: for fuller roasting flavor seal the goat in a heavy based pan on high until browned and then place into the slow cooker.
